What Is Biomass Renewable Energy?
Biomass, during the conversion process, releases energy. Biomass can be burned directly or converted to organic feedstock or biogas that we utilize as fuel.
Examples of biomass energy can include the conversion of animal manure and human sewage to biogas, which we can burn as fuel. In addition, the transformation of food, yard, and wood waste to generate electricity or, in a separate process, convert to liquid biogas is also considered biomass energy.
